Covid19 Vaccinations

If you are over 18 and have yet to receive a Covid vaccination please register here

We are working with the Health Board and the Scottish Government to plan the safe delivery of the Covid19 Vaccinations.

With over 13,000 patients registered with our practice alone, it is vital that the top priority is safety, ensuring adequate distancing when administering the vaccinations and having space to wait.

We will be contacting patients by telephone according to the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) recommendations when we have confirmation of vaccine availability. This may mean that appointments are offered at relatively short notice.
PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE PRACTICE - WE WILL CONTACT YOU.

Information about the vaccination, what to side effects to expect and reasons not to have the vaccine can be found here.

We plan to utilise the Baptist Church next door to the surgery where we will have sufficient space to run clinics safely, without impacting the day to day running of the surgery. We urge you to attend the appointment offered, or cancel in advance to allow the appointment to be offered to someone else. The Baptist Church is fully accessible on the level with wheelchair access.

Patients will be offered appointments in the following order.

  • Over 80 years old
  • Over 75 years old
  • Over 70 years old
  • Patients who are Extremely Clinically Vulnerable - ie where sent a letter advising they should shield
